I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the State of Washington (PY60107811). I did my undergraduate work at Georgetown University and earned my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. I am a member of various professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, and the Puget Sound Group Psychotherapy Network. I work in the Seattle community as a clinical supervisor and consultant, and I am affiliated with the Fremont Community Therapy Project.
I am also an adjunct faculty member and clinical supervisor at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
I have been trained to work with a wide range of people presenting with a wide range of issues. I've been greatly influenced by the multicultural and feminist movements, and in my work I strive to understand my clients' concerns and worldviews within the context of societal, cultural, and contextual factors.
On a more personal note, I am a photographer and woodworker, and have been professionally and joyously involved in these pursuits for a number of years.
